Resonance part 2

"For me, resonance is like the echo of one being or a self in the surrounding and then the assimilation of that echo to calibrate again the inner self. It is a dialectical communication between a being and other ones and the surrounding. This communication, that is not necessarily is harmonic, rational, or beautiful, might come from different sources, and at a random time.

It is like the vibration of sounds, movements, flows, energies, and matter between two autopoietic systems, I you want a more technical definition.

Yesterday I was speaking this topic with some friends watching a concert at a bar. We were discussing: what is the meaning or why music exists, from an evolutionary point of view? One said it is because music and singing helped to memorize words back in early times, to retain messages, and language. We sing and learn things singing when we are kids.

But I believe there is something hidden beyond that purpose. We are connected with music because we resonate, we vibrate with the environment and our mood, thoughts, and actions could change according to those modulations. Vibrating and modulating are the keys of resonance. The deepest resonance is without the ears, it is an act of immanence in the interior of ourselves to transcend our original condition, for different purposes, such as joy, joking, or changing in a more substantial way; a conjugation of the inner self + external reality, as these collapse and intertwine with each other when we are resonating.

In sum, resonating is not the same as music, sound, repetition, or just transmission of something. It is like the light that is refracted and reflected between different mirrors and surfaces, but at the same time fulfills a space with millions of beams and waves. When we resonate we are like a window and a mirror in which light comes in and is reflected in a different angle, discovering a new surface on us, a new angle in which we can see and from which we can be seen by others.

Resonating is an act of transgression, framing ourselves and unfolding our memory and history into a multiplicity. It is like a constant ramification of ourselves through modulations and potential realities condensed into one."
